1st Annual Powhatan Harvest Fest Party
Dear Friends,
WOW! What a success the 1st Annual Harvest Fest Party was this year. It is estimated between 2,500 to
4,000 adults and children attended the night of family fun. The event was not only for children to have a safe, fun place to go on
Halloween, but also to give back to some of our non-profit organizations in our community. Well, I think we definitely did
both!
Since none of this could have been possible without the help of so many people and organizations in our community, I
would like to thank a few.
The Powhatan Fair Association (especially Abe Harris, Randa Jackson, & Ray Goins) for supporting the idea
and making the night possible.
Capital Chevy Pontiac GMC (598-3013) for allowing me the time I needed to organize and plan this huge event.

We had three weeks to organize this event and I honestly didnt know what to expect. I am so appreciative of all the help.
We are already talking about what to add next year to make it even better. So be sure to give me a call next year if you are
